Season 1
1. Sigur - Winner
As the favorite to win the Norris from the start of the season, Chara was a rock defensively for the #1 Sarnia Sting. The team played a hard forechecking game, which meant Chara needed to be near-perfect and stop several odd-man rushes and move the puck up the ice with poise and composure. Since he was, the Sting were first place in MKL.
2. D.Babych
D.Babych has been underrated for a long time and was predicted to go 32nd overall but was selected 10 overall by the Ghostbusters. He has proven this season that he is one of the best defensemen in North America and was one of the main reasons for the Ghostbusters’ success in season 1.
3. Shakey/Coburn
Shakey was definitely one of the most improved players in season. He became one of the top defensemen in North America after a good season with Sarnia and Syracuse. A big part of the trade that sent Soulja to the Sting, his value became very clear by the end of the season as an elite shutdown defender.
Coburn, selected 16th overall, has proven that he’s one of the best all around players in the league. He has showed up big on scoreboard and on defense. Coburn has been a rock for the outlaws this season, playing some crucial minutes. He keeps getting better and better.

Season 2
1. D.Babych - Winner
Babych was a key fixture at mid for the steamers. He was outstanding offensively for the steamers and was a great aid on defense.
2. Stuart
BB played a similar role for the Icehawks as Babych did for the Steamers. He aided B.Allen on main D but was mostly a strong player offensively. Together the duo kept the icehawks going throughout the season.
3. Shakey
