Season 1
1. Tim - Winner
Through good drafting and careful transactions, Tim was able to form a deep team that competed at the highest level. Though he made some moves that at the time were considered “questionable”, they turned out to be the right ones. He knew what he had to do to keep the team tight and maintain the great chemistry.
2. Sigur
Acquiring Soulja from the Silvertips was a brilliant trade that united two of the best forwards in North America. The “Big 3” on Sarnia carried their team to the top of the standings as the talent was just too much for other teams to handle.
3. gohabsgo/Jordan
The other two playoff teams, Montreal and Chicago, enjoyed great success during the regular season. Jordan’s highlight was his great drafting and waiver pick-ups, stealing Dario and Tuggy in later rounds and signing T.Gilbert, AK46 and Jeb as free agents. Habs was forced to make several trades and managed to still keep a competitive team by ensuring that all players he got in return were of fair value.
