Favorites to win: Barrington Broncos as they beat LIF 2 games to none during the season & finishing in 1st.
Result: Broncos lead series 1-0, however LIF forced them to forfeit the championship (it was optional).

Summary:

Once again Soulja being out of luck when it comes to the finals. He was without a desktop computer for over a week during this time resulting in no games getting played. As he returned, the Broncos and LIF began to start scheduling game times again in the hopes of finishing the series. The Broncos came out of Game 1 with a win and were to finish the rest of the games the following night, however this was not the case. LIF had 4+ online and the Broncos only had 2 online at game time. Pimmer the at the time commish gave the Broncos an extra 15 minutes to get 4 players online or else LIF would have the option of forcing a forfeit and being handed the MKL cup once again. They accepted this offer even though 3-5 minutes after all of this happened the Broncos GM Franzen had signed online and was willing to sign a free agent just to play, however LIF refused to.

Let this be a lesson to GMs, don't keep a roster full of inactive players just so you always play your top ones. Let more people play or this happens.

What a pathetic way to end the finals. Also, LIF.... there is no dignity in this. How you accept the forfeit is beyond me.
